HOST Needs Home Providers!

Housing Options for Students Today (HOST) is having an exciting year of positive impact for college students in Wake County! We hope to continue this work toward our goal of serving at least 20 new Wake County college students this year. To meet this goal, we need new host home providers from across the community.

HOST is actively recruiting up to 10 new host homes this year. To be a host home, you will need a spare bedroom in your home that can be occupied by a college student for one week–four months. A host home should provide the college student with a safe, private bedroom — including access to a private or shared bathroom, kitchen, and parking or public transportation. Ideally, hosts should also offer laundry facilities. HOST can provide limited monthly stipends to hosts to supplement housing arrangements.
