Pullen Legacy Giving

With Your Help, Pullen's Work Will Continue for Coming Generations

A legacy gift to Pullen Memorial Baptist Church is a gracious offering to the future. Naming Pullen in your estate plans ensures that our sacred work of community and justice love is carried on by future generations.

You can name Pullen in your will or more simply, as a beneficiary of a retirement plan or on your life insurance.

When you join Pullen’s Legacy Giving program, you will receive a pin to signify your participation. If you wish to be recognized for your gift, you will become part of a memorial naming legacy donors (the amount you leave will not be revealed).

Ways to Include Charitable Giving in Your Estate Plan

For a clear overview of charitable estate planning options, Charitable Legacy Planning from Fidelity Charitable explains common methods such as bequests, beneficiary designations, charitable trusts, and gift annuities.  The page also includes a downloadable guide for those who would like a deeper look at these approaches

Implementing Your Estate Giving Plan

Some charitable estate gifts can be made by updating beneficiary designations on retirement accounts, life insurance policies, or payable-on-death accounts — often using a simple form from your financial institution. Other approaches, such as creating or revising a will, trust, or other legal document, require properly executed legal instruments. Many individuals choose to consult an attorney when preparing or updating these documents.

If you have already included Pullen in your estate plans, please contact the church administrator or call 919.828.0897. Thank you!
