A Christian Witness Against the Iran War
April 9
6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Pullen Memorial Church (gathering location; event includes a public walk)
Participants from area churches will gather to give a witness to a faith that promotes peace and reconciliation against the violent rhetoric justifying the war in Iran as a “holy war.” This event is a time of shared presence, reflection, and public witness grounded in faith values of non-violence and peace.
We will conclude our vigil with a public witness, walking from Pullen Church to the roundabout at Pullen Road, then back down Hillsborough Street to the roundabout at Morgan Street, and returning to the church.
Please make and bring a sign that gives witness to our faith values of non-violence and peace.
Participating communities include Pullen Memorial Baptist, Trinity Lutheran, Fairmont United Methodist, Southeast Raleigh Table United Methodist, and Greenwood Forest Baptist. All are welcome to join in this time of collective witness.
