Christian Themes Portrayed in Film

Nov 1–Dec 13 | Room 310 | Facilitated by Jason Jones

Movies have long captivated and entertained many of us in our lives, although there have been a lack of movies, especially from Hollywood, that have not exactly addressed or imbued the screens with spirituality or what, at Pullen, we would describe as “the true gospel” with messages of hope, justice, or Christ’s central message of love. I hope to explore and discuss a few films that I believe have addressed some of these issues in the past few years. We will discuss these films and how some directors are making an effort to present these ideals on film.
