Music Ministry Groups Starting in October
The Pullen Music Ministry offers a variety of opportunities for individuals to experience the benefits and joys of communal music-making. Rehearsals for the following Music Ministry groups begin in October. All are welcome to participate!
Caroling Christmas Choir (Youth and Adults)
Wednesday Rehearsals: October 15, 22, 29; November 5, 12, 19; December 3, 10
7:30–8:30 pm in Room 203
This choir will join the Pullen Orchestra in presenting music at Springmoor Retirement Community at 4 pm, December 7. In addition, the choir and the Pullen Orchestra will prepare music for Pullen’s third Caroling Christmas Service, following the annual Christmas Breakfast, at 11 am, December 14.
Children’s Choir (Grades 3-5)
Sunday Rehearsals: October 12, 19; November 16, 23
9:30 am in Room 122
On December 7, Pullen will host Raleigh Youth Choir and their families for worship service. And our Children’s Choir will join the Raleigh Youth Choir groups — the Acorn and Oak choirs — to offer music during worship. The Children’s Choir will also share music during Pullen’s Caroling Christmas Service on December 14.
Music Friends (K–Grade 2)
Sundays, October 12, 19; November 16, 23
9:30 am in Room 123
Younger children participate in this group that is integrated with Sunday Groups for kids. Age-focused activities instill the joy of music-making and explore Sunday Group themes.
