‘We Will Dwell in Safety’ Prayer Vigil

Join us as we pray for the safety of all North Carolinians and invite law enforcement officials into prayerful reflection on their even greater responsibility for public safety.

In June, the North Carolina General Assembly voted to override Governor Josh Stein's veto of SB-153, a law that requires state law enforcement agencies to collaborate with ICE. This prayer vigil offers an opportunity to gather in prayer, reflect together, and bear witness as a community.

The vigil will take place from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. on Halifax Mall. Participants are welcome to attend the vigil only or stay afterward to learn about ways they can take action this fall.
