Thank You for a Beautiful Beloved Build!

Eight members of Pullen Memorial Baptist Church joined a dozen people from other Raleigh faith communities on Sunday 18 May to continue the construction of a single-family home in Habitat for Humanity Wake County’s Old Poole Road community. Activities included filling air gaps with foam, adding fire blocks and nailing strips between studs, securing window studs with metal braces, and applying weather seal tape between panels of exterior insulation. Under mostly clear skies, work began at 8:30 am and ended around 2:00 pm with a short break for lunch, provided by Beth Meyer Synagogue and Pullen. Everyone exhibited great energy and enthusiasm. It was a good dose of work and a lot of fun.

Hope you’ll join us for another Beloved Build day on Saturday 26 July.

With gratitude,

Rob Thompson
