Supporting Voter Registration

The Pullen Friends of Democracy invite you to join us in supporting the non-partisan organization YouCanVote (YCV) while we encourage and assist each other in registering voters across North Carolina. This effort is an opportunity to make a tangible difference in our community by helping ensure that everyone who is eligible can participate in elections.

Step one is to get trained to register voters. Training sessions last just 30 minutes and are offered frequently via Zoom throughout March and April (and beyond, if needed!). To sign up, go to youcanvote.org, click on “Events,” and select “voter registration.”

Step two is to connect with fellow Pullenites and attend voter registration events. Once you are trained, email Amy Marschall at amymarschall7@gmail.com. She will help coordinate opportunities to work together at voter registration events in our area.

Founded in 2014 in response to the Supreme Court’s rollback of key protections in the Voting Rights Act, YouCanVote educates and empowers voters statewide. All are welcome to participate, whether you are a first-time volunteer or an experienced voter registration advocate.
