Spring 2026 Walnut Creek Watershed Learning Network with PEJ

Saturdays, March 21–May 2, 2026

11 am–3 pm

Walnut Creek Wetlands Park, 950 Peterson St, Raleigh, NC

Partners for Environmental Justice is excited to share that registration is officially open for the Spring 2026 Walnut Creek Watershed Learning Network (WCWLN). This year’s theme, Tech-Powered Environmental Stewardship, dives into how technology can help us understand, protect, and advocate for the Walnut Creek watershed.

The WCWLN will meet on Saturdays, March 21–May 2, 2026, from 11 am–3 pm at Walnut Creek Wetlands Park, 950 Peterson St, Raleigh, NC. Throughout the program, participants will explore how technology supports environmental justice, try hands-on tech tools to better understand their watershed, and see local climate challenges up close, including heat, flooding, and more.

Participants will also design and complete a community impact project and build leadership skills to create real change. Those who complete the program will receive a $400 stipend in recognition of their commitment and participation.

This learning network is ideal for individuals who care about their community, the environment, and practical solutions for climate resilience. Whether you are new to environmental advocacy or looking to deepen your engagement, this inspiring spring cohort offers meaningful opportunities to learn and lead.
