Pullen Solar Energy Update

Together, our two solar panel systems (the Cox building and Poteat Chapel) have been generating clean energy for a total of 73 months. They have produced 376,197 kWh of energy since 2022.

This is equal to reducing our CO2 emissions by 518,957 lbs, or avoiding the use of 26,487 gallons of gas. It is also comparable to the annual amount of carbon that is sequestered by 235.9 acres of US forests.

In 2025 alone, the solar panels produced 104,728 kWh. This is equal to reducing our CO2 emissions by 144,470 lbs, or avoiding the use of 7,373 gallons of gasoline. It is also comparable to the annual amount of carbon that is sequestered by 65.7 acres of US forests.

Way to go Pullen! Our planet thanks you for your investment in and commitment to solar energy!
