Hope Center July Client Needs
The Hope Center at Pullen is a, NC nonprofit dedicated to helping teens in foster care and young people aging out of the system build stable, self-sufficient futures. Through teen programs and transition services including life coaching, housing support, and community connection, the organization helps youth navigate the leap into adulthood without the safety net many take for granted. Its current flagship initiative, the Hope Village at Method (in partnership with CASA), is a 9-apartment building providing safe, affordable housing for former foster youth in Wake County.
Hope Center has two clients in need of a washer and dryer.
HCP client RJ recently moved out of our temporary emergency housing apartment and into her own place. She also recently graduated from Wake Tech and plans to enroll at NCCU to pursue an eventual law degree. There is lots of exciting growth and change, but the housing progress also brought an obstacle: RJ needs a washer and dryer for her new apartment. Laundromats are expensive and time-consuming, and the freedom to do laundry at home would be a huge weight off her shoulders as she continues to settle into a self-sufficient adulthood.
One wonderful donor, Blair, has already pledged $100 toward buying a new washer and dryer for RJ, but a second client, BJ, has also recently moved into a new apartment without laundry facilities. Your support can help both clients establish stable homes and continue moving forward.

All are welcome to support this effort.
