From the Finance Committee: Fundraising Policy

If you or your group plan to host a fundraiser at Pullen, please help to avoid multiple fundraising efforts occurring simultaneously by observing the following process:

  • The Pullen bylaws task the Finance Committee with approving all fundraising efforts. Specifically, the bylaws state that the Finance Committee will “Consider and determine whether funds may be solicited from congregants for specific internal or external events or programs.” The bylaws also stipulate that “Anyone wishing to raise such funds for any purpose shall submit a written proposal to the Finance Committee.”

  • Any person or group hoping to raise funds for a Pullen activity must submit a request to the Finance Committee for approval. The committee meets on the third Sunday of each month and will consider requests at one of those meetings.

  • To access the fundraising request form, click here. You should submit your request in enough time for the committee to meet at least twice before the start of any fundraiser.

If you have questions during your planning process, contact Mark Nance.
