The Pullen Memorial Baptist Church Scholarship(s) will be offered again for the 2026 academic year. This Scholarship is for seniors in high school who have been accepted to a college and for current college or graduate students. Any individual with a significant relationship to Pullen is encouraged to apply.
Each scholarship will be at least $500, depending on availability of funds and number of applicants. The application deadline is June 15.

Policy Statement
Pullen Memorial Baptist Church has an endowed scholarship. Interest from this endowment will be used to award scholarships on an annual basis, as funds are available. Priority will be given to applicants with demonstrated financial need.
General Information
Applications are due online or in the church office by June 15, 2026. This is a firm deadline.
Applicants must have a meaningful relationship with Pullen Memorial Baptist Church or, if already a college student should have been active before entering college.
Applications will be accepted for students undertaking post-high school coursework toward a degree or certificate.
Applicants may apply for the scholarship at the same time they are applying for entry into an accredited institution/program. Scholarships will not be funded until the recipient is formally accepted by the institution/program.
The selection of the scholarship recipient(s) is the decision of the GEMS Committee. The Committee may request a personal interview with an applicant.
Applicant information will be kept confidential.
The names of all scholarship recipients will be announced to the Pullen congregation.
Scholarships will be awarded based on the availability of funds will be $500, or more depending on number of applicants and availability of funds.
Applicants will be notified of a decision by July 1, 2026.
Scholarship recipients may reapply.
