Pullen Builds with Habitat
On a beautiful Saturday in April, five Pullenites joined others from nearby faith communities to participate in Habitat for Humanity Wake County’s Spring Beloved Build at Old Poole Place in Raleigh.
The group contributed to the construction of townhomes by skillfully measuring, cutting, carrying, and hammering wood, moving the building toward completion. At noon, faith members and Habitat staff shared conversation and lunch, provided in part by Pullen.
All were exhausted by the end of the work day, but also filled with the satisfaction of making available affordable homes for our neighbors. Pullen’s “Justice Love” was certainly in action on Saturday. Thanks go to Jan, Jeff, Kristy, Mark, and Rob for their volunteer efforts.
