Poll Chaplain/Poll Peacekeeper Online Training with Faiths United To Save Democracy
September 28 or October 15, 2026
7–8:30 pm| Online
Pullen Friends of Democracy encourages you to join a one-session online training with Faiths United To Save Democracy to become a Poll Peacekeeper or Poll Chaplain and provide a calming, moral presence and practical support at polling places.
Poll Peacekeepers are community and lay leaders, while Poll Chaplains are active and retired ordained clergy. Those serving provide a calming, moral presence and practical support aided by connecting voters to a hotline at polling.
Chalice Overy, Ian McPherson, and Lynn Lyle had good experiences serving on election day in November 2024. You are invited to give it a try. Participation in the training does not obligate you to serve on election day.
Training will be offered on September 28 or October 15, from 7–8:30 p.m.
