October 25

9 am–2 pm at Walnut Creek Wetland Center (950 Peterson Street, Raleigh)

You are invited to join members of the wider Raleigh community to learn about the racialized history of our community and its impact on the environment, and how to organize around environmental justice. You will hear from author, historian, and activist Carmen Cauthen and pastor and author Rev. Greg Jarrell, and the staff of the Walnut Creek Wetland Center. The event will include lunch, conversation, and time on the creek.

Tickets are $20 each or a "pay what you can" donation. All proceeds will benefit Partners for Environmental Justice.
