Finlator Lecture Series

Friday, October 2 | 6:00 - 8:00 pm | Dinner and keynote lecture

Saturday, October 3 | 9:00 am - 2:15 pm | Lecture and panel discussion with guests

How do you show up for justice work without burning out? How do you find your place in a world that needs everything at once?

Finlator Lecture 2026 is a weekend retreat, part of Pullen Memorial Baptist Church’s Finlator Lecture Series, inviting church members and community partners to explore these questions together. Rooted in faith and grounded in practice, this event helps participants discern their unique social justice calling: not what needs to be done, but what you are equipped and called to do.

Over two and a half days, we will gather for worship, storytelling, and keynote reflections; break into age-specific sessions for children, youth, and adults; share meals together; and connect with local organizations doing justice work across a range of issues and approaches.

The event concludes Sunday morning with a themed sermon during regular worship. All are welcome—congregation members and community alike.
