Walter Brueggemann, Phyllis Trible, and Richard Hays’ contributions to Biblical Studies have shaped how recent generations of Christians engage and explore the Biblical text. Their groundbreaking scholarship and moral voices have changed how we read the scripture and hear the voices within it. With their deaths this year, this three-week series will honor their contributions to the faith by exploring the major themes and methods of Biblical interpretation that each taught.
