Congregational Meeting, February 15
A congregational meeting will take place on Sunday, February 15, immediately after worship, in Finlator Hall. Food will be provided.
This will be a voting meeting at which four agenda items will be considered.
1) Use of the surplus of $18,911 from the 2025 budget toward the 2026 budget.
2) Revisions to the 2026 church budget as proposed by the Finance Committee.
To ensure the sustainability of our spending, the Finance Committee felt it was important to maintain a standard of 92% for our pledging. At the end of pledge season, we had pledged 88.82%. As a result, we have made relatively small revisions to the 2026 budget that reduced our budget by $18,788. With those reductions, and if we apply the 2025 surplus to the 2026 budget, we will have pledged 91.9% of our budget.
Two documents provide further details: One provides an overview of the specific revisions that we are proposing. The other provides the line-by-line budget, including the 2025 budget, the original 2026 budget, and the proposed revisions to the 2026 budget.

“Only at-large members of the Council will have voting rights.
The following language is added to Bylaws Article III/Missions and Outreach Council/ Duties as a seventh bulleted item:
“Review and approve or disapprove proposals concerning programmatic missions-related use of the Pullen Guest Space and submit proposals to the Coordinating Council for review. If approved by Coordinating Council, proposals will be submitted to the congregation for final approval or disapproval.
