Come Jam with the Pullen Pickers!
Thursday, August 29 | 6:30–8:30 pm | Finlator Hall
Do you play an instrument, love to sing, or just want to try something new? Join the Pullen Pickers for a fun and relaxed open jam circle!
This is the perfect chance to learn how a music pickin’ jam works. The Pullen Pickers will be on hand to lead songs, explain the process, and encourage everyone to join in. Jamming is not about perfection—it’s about community, harmony, and fun!
What to Expect:
Simple songs (usually 4–6 chords)
Singing and harmonizing together
Guidance from experienced pickers
A welcoming space for all skill levels—even beginners!
Jam-friendly instruments include: guitar, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, bass, and dobro. Other instruments—like autoharps, dulcimers, penny whistles, or clawhammer banjos—are also encouraged.
Whether you’re a seasoned player or just dusting off your instrument for the first time in years, this is your chance to play, sing, and connect with fellow Pullenites.
