Uncovering Unconscious Bias

Bias is something we all have — but it doesn’t have to define us.

At Pullen, we believe in continually examining how these biases shape our interactions and impact our call to love and justice. This August, the Committee on Becoming an Anti-racist Congregation invites you to take part in a powerful journey of self-discovery through a three-week Summer Sunday Series on August 3, 10, and 17 from 9:30–10:30 am in Finlator Hall

During this series, we’ll explore:

  • How and why our brains develop unconscious biases

  • The ways bias affects decision-making and relationships

  • Practical strategies to recognize and interrupt bias in everyday life

By becoming more aware of our biases, we open ourselves to seeing the Divine more clearly in others and strengthen our ability to advocate for racial justice in all areas of life — from personal relationships to community engagement.

No registration required — just bring an open mind and a willing heart.

Let’s take this step forward together.
