From the Personnel Committee: Staffing Updates

After careful consideration of Pullen's budget and staffing needs, we submitted updated job descriptions for Church Administrator and Admin Specialist to the Coordinating Council for approval. Based on feedback from the Coordinating Council, we plan to move forward with a search committee for Church Administrator. We also plan to call a congregational meeting in early January to get input from Pullen members on an overall staffing plan.

 

Currently, Sandra Hunt and David Anderson are ably filling the interim roles of Church Administrator and Minister for Social Justice and Facilities Management, respectively. This arrangement will continue into the new year, as we conduct the search process for a new Church Administrator.

Search Committee Requirements

The search committee shall be appointed by the Personnel Committee. The search committee shall be composed of a committee of six to ten members, including at least one member of the Coordinating Council, the Personnel Committee, the Buildings and Grounds Committee, the Finance Committee, the Technology Committee, the Cox Avenue Committee, and one Church Office Volunteer (optional). The Pastor shall be a member, non-voting. The search committee and Pastor shall recommend to the Personnel Committee a candidate for its approval.
