Gardeners Program
Recognizing
that Pullen people are in different stages of their faith and spiritual development, a
program called Gardeners:Planting Seeds of Faith, Tending the Spirit is offered to
help people create a course of self-directed learning to deepen their faith and nurture
their spiritual life. After identifying the
topic for study and reflection, each person is assigned a mentor to assist with his or her
learning. Although designed to be a
significant, intentional plan of study, participants in Gardeners and their mentors
determine format and meeting times to meet their needs.

Spiritual
Life Group
Pullen's
Spiritual Life Group serves as both a supportive gathering of persons with a special
interest in spirituality and a task group fostering this area of the church's life. Each
meeting includes time for community building and worshipful silence as well as attention
to planning retreats and programs. SLG activities include leading an annual prayer vigil
during Lent, sponsoring quiet days, placing books on spirituality and related materials in the
library, maintaining and offering Pullen's labyrinth, and otherwise supporting Pullen members'
search for a deeper sense of the Spirit's presence in their lives. The SLG is open to any interested persons and meets
periodically in the evening at a member's home.
