Pullen Music Ministry | Music in the church exists in relationship to virtually every area of church life -- as a means of worship, a source for spiritual enrichment, a tool in Christian education, an enjoyment for fellowship, and an avenue of ministry. | | Music Ministry at Pullen is expressed...in the delight of preschoolers at musical play...in the pure tones of a children's choir and the maturing voices of youth...in the choral art of dedicated adults...in the proclamation of a psalm, the poetry of a hymn, the simplicity of a spiritual song...in the majestic and meditative sounds of the pipe organ...in the resonant vibration of handbells and the distinctive timbre of instruments...in the multi-faceted voice and song of the congregation at worship. | | All are welcomed to participate in the following church music ministry groups. | Music Discovery (Pre-K - First Grade) Wednesdays, 6:00-6:30PM, Room 115 Linda Garrett, Director | | In an age-appropriate, comfortable environment, young children participate in this 30-minute music activity experience while learning that music-making is an enjoyable and meaningful part of church life. | Children's Choir (Grades 2-5) Wednesdays, 6:00-6:45PM, Room 307 Larry Schultz, Director Cindy Schultz, Accompanist | | Middle and older elementary children develop musical and singing skills and learn about worship and church music.
