Wednesday night is a busy time for the Pullen family. We begin at 5:15 PM in Finlator Hall with a meal that provides valuable time to visit with fellow Pullenites. At 6:15 PM we have announcements of upcoming events within our church and community followed by the naming of prayer concerns. At 6:30 PM, adults can choose from several program offerings that conclude at 7:30 PM as the children’s and youth programming ends. The program topics vary, and typically include bible study, presentations on social justice issues, aspects of theology or spirituality, matters of concern to our church family, reports from our international partners, and activities offered for fun and self-improvement.

Wednesday Nights for 2009-2010 begin on September 9 and end on May 19. There are no activities on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, when we join with other West Raleigh churches for a Thanksgiving service; the last two weeks of December; or during Holy Week, the day before our Maundy Thursday service. The cost of dinner is $6.00 for youth and adults, $3.00 for children age K through fifth grade, with a $20 family cap. The meal is free for college students. Reservations will not be required in November and December as we re-evaluate the need for them.

All of our youth meet eat together. You may bring your own or purchase a meal in Finlator Hall for $6.00. Fellowship is an important part of this time together. We have announcements at 6:15 PM followed by our program at 6:30 PM. The program changes from week to week, but it is our aim for it to always be informative, conversational, and/or relevant to teenagers. Watch the blog for weekly updates.
