Music in the Church

a means of worship

a source for spirituality

a tool in education,

a catalyst for community,

an enjoyment for fellowship,

an avenue of ministry,

a connection with creation.

            Music Ministry at Pullen

the delight of preschoolers at musical play,
the pure tones of a children's choir
and the maturing voices of youth,
the choral art of dedicated adults
and the orchestral gifts of youth and adults together,
the majestic and meditative sounds of the pipe organ,
the resonant vibration of handbells
and the distinctive timbres of instruments,
the proclamation of a psalm,
     the poetry of a hymn,
the simplicity of a spiritual song,
the multi-generational harmony of the congregation at worship.

Age-focused teaching provides the children effective opportunities for growth as choral singers and instrumentalists.
