Getting to Know Pullen

There are several opportunities to get to know Pullen, from calling a pastor for a one-on-one discussion about Pullen Church to jumping right into participation in one of our mission groups for which you have a passion or interest. Of course, you can always participate in our programming. Wednesday Night Dinners and Programs and Foyers are a good way to socialize with others both new to the congregation and those who have been here for years. Or join a Sunday school class for education and discussion in a small group. We also have many volunteer opportunities.

Especially for visitors and newcomers are:

Pullen 101

Pullen 101 is an eight-week contract class designed to introduce new persons to Pullen and our ministry and mission. Topics include our identity, history, theology, worship, Baptist heritage, structure, missions, and education. In each session, church members share memorable Pullen stories and explain why they are at Pullen. Information about how our church functions in its various ministry areas is also included. The class provides an opportunity to get to know Pullen people and staff. Classes are offered each fall and spring.

Welcome to Pullen Potluck

A covered dish supper for new members and newcomers is held on most first Mondays of the month at 6:30 PM at the home of Rachel and Steve Smith. This is an opportunity to meet Pullen members involved in different areas of the church. Please bring a dish to share.
