The ability to make music is a primal characteristic all humans share. Evolved as both rational and emotional beings, we employ music to express the full range of our experience. With music we engage and convey the things that are most meaningful in our lives, and find in its gifts a profound ministry in the church.
Pullen’s ministry through congregational, choral and instrumental music sustains and advances our church’s heritage of progressive thought, expansive theology, inclusive welcome, ecumenical commitment, interfaith dialogue, justice work, global awareness and creation care, as it offers multifaceted expressions in worship and service.
When making music together we explore our unique individuality while transcending our individual selves; we find deep connection with others and realize our oneness with all. Whether you are new to communal music-making, or someone for whom it has been part of your life-long journey, you are warmly welcomed to participate in Music Ministry at Pullen.
