The Pullen Young Adults are moved by the work of our new friend Garrett Cooper who has founded Keep Raleigh Warm. Please take a moment to learn what he’s doing (and how you can help) to offer a bit of warmth for people experiencing homelessness in Raleigh.
Over the past year Pullen has attracted a growing number of young adults and therefore we have found it to be a great opportunity to organize some intentional time for those 20- and 30-somethings to gather together. Whether you have never come to Pullen before at all or you are a member and serve in numerous leadership capacities, it is our hope that these gatherings will at the least provide you with some new connections and perhaps even further be a space of deep, meaningful community.
If you have any questions, comments, concerns, ideas, etc. please don't hesitate to email Laura Michelle Foley.
If you’re available and interested:
October 11: Habitat Work Day
November 2: Senior Adult/Young Adult Luncheon
December 16: Christmas Party – Emily & Megans!
All young adults are invited to a cookout at Nancy and Karla’s house Tuesday, Sept. 9
This will be the first Young Adult gathering of the Fall and we will all get reacquainted over sharing about our summers, discussing a potential calendar for the upcoming months, and probably, as usual, indulge ourselves in just a little theological musing.
Bring yourselves and if you wish – a dish to share, and a drink to enjoy!
